The Contact Lens Institute (CLI) has published a new infographic illustrating how contact lens use, evaluation, and purchasing habits vary across countries and regions. The visual resource is part of the organization’s ongoing See Tomorrow initiative and comes ahead of its next consumer report, expected for release later this month.
Based on a year’s worth of contact lens-related posts on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the infographic explores consumer interest in topics such as advanced and basic lens technologies, cosmetic lenses, access to care, sustainability, cost considerations, and lens modality preferences.
CLI’s forthcoming 30-page report will expand on these insights, offering new consumer research, data visualizations, and expert commentary, and is scheduled for release ahead of Optometry’s Meeting | 5th World Congress of Optometry.
