The Vision Council (TVC) has announced the panel topics that will anchor the upcoming Executive Summit agenda, which will include networking opportunities and discussions focused on issues shaping the optical industry.
Taking place January 26 to 28 at The Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island, Florida, the event will feature 3 panel discussions addressing hearing care integration, artificial intelligence in optical, and government relations.
The “Hearing in Eye Care” panel will examine the increasing convergence of vision and hearing services and its potential impact on the future of eye care. Panelists are expected to discuss emerging care models, economic considerations, and how offering hearing services may affect patient experience, practice operations, and long-term sustainability. The session aligns with the event’s Vision 2030 theme, highlighting trends that could influence the industry over the next decade.
The “Artificial Intelligence in Optical” panel will focus on current applications of AI within the vision care sector. Industry professionals will share examples of how AI is being implemented in their organizations and discuss its role in supporting efficiency, performance, and broader industry outcomes.
The “Government Relations” panel will provide updates on TVC’s advocacy priorities for 2026, as well as an overview of potential policy developments in a midterm election year. Panelists will address regulatory and legislative issues relevant to eyecare businesses and respond to attendee questions.
Attendees are invited to submit questions in advance for any of the panel topics. Submissions are due by Wednesday, January 14, and will help inform the discussion during the sessions.
