Design Eyewear Group has appointed Heinz Pichler as vice president of sales for North America. Pichler brings extensive eyewear industry experience, having held sales and brand leadership roles at Marchon, Silhouette, and Modo. In his new role, he will support the company’s continued expansion and partner relationships across North America.
VSP Vision has appointed Dave Plevyak as chief insurance officer. In this role, Plevyak will lead the organization’s not-for-profit vision benefits business, VSP Vision Care. Plevyak joined VSP Vision in 1992 and most recently served as senior vice president of finance for VSP Vision Care. He succeeds Usha Patil, who departed the company in 2025 to pursue other opportunities.
Victoria Hallberg has been appointed senior vice president of sales for Zyloware and Kenmark Eyewear, where she will oversee all independent accounts across both organizations—a move intended to strengthen and unify the sales process across all brands. Hallberg brings more than 30 years of experience in the optical industry, with a background in sales leadership, brand development, and strategic account growth.
