Registration is now open for Vision Expo 2026, set to take place March 11-14 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The event, co-owned by RX and The Vision Council (TVC), marks the 40th anniversary of Vision Expo and the debut of a unified annual show for the optical industry.
“Vision Expo’s evolution into a single annual event allows us to create an even more impactful and dynamic experience for all segments of the optical industry,” says Ashley Mills, TVC’s CEO. “As we celebrate 40 years of Vision Expo, we’re also looking forward to expanding educational programming, introducing new stages and experiences, and collaborating closely with industry partners to spotlight the trends and technologies shaping the future of eyewear and eye care.”
The 2026 show is expected to host more than 350 exhibitors representing eyewear, eye care, technology, and design. This year’s edition will introduce three new content stages:
-
Now Stage: Focused on design and fashion trends, featuring the Now Awards, trend discussions, and the Flaunt the Frame fashion show.
-
Innovation Stage: Highlighting technology, artificial intelligence, and medical advancements, in addition to hosting the VSP Vision Innovation Challenge Awards and pitch competition.
-
Vision Stage: Featuring continuing education sessions, business and practice management programming, the OptiCon General Session, and industry summits.
Vision Expo has also opened its “Call for New,” encouraging brands to submit new products, technologies, booth activations, and trends for potential promotional opportunities.
The event will offer more than 200 hours of accredited CE beginning March 11, with the exhibit hall opening March 12. Educational tracks will cover eyewear, lenses, diagnostic equipment, practice management, design trends, and digital health.
In addition to the show floor, Vision Expo will host networking events and partner programs with organizations including the Optical Women’s Association, the United Opticians Association, and Prevent Blindness.
Hotel reservations through the event’s official housing partner, Connections Housing, are now available, with complimentary shuttles offered from participating hotels. The housing block closes Feb. 17, 2026.
Registration is open for attendees, exhibitors, and media. Additional details, including programming updates and travel information, are available here.
