
CooperVision recently held its 2025 New Graduate Summit, a pair of multiday educational events designed to support newly graduated optometrists as they transition into clinical practice. The gatherings welcomed more than 100 eyecare professionals, offering practical sessions on employment contracts, financial planning, and clinical decision-making.
The West Coast event took place at CooperVision’s Paragon CRT manufacturing facility in Gilbert, AZ, while the East Coast Summit was held near the company’s operations in Rochester, NY. Attendees toured the facilities and participated in workshops led by practicing optometrists covering career readiness, patient care, and professional growth.
Speakers included Cindy Shan, OD, FAAO; Sheila Morrison, OD, MS, FAAO, FSLS; Aaron Neufeld, OD; Dr. Chris Lopez, OD; and Shalu Pal, OD, FAAO.
