Carolina Herrera launches its spring eyewear collection from Safilo—a range of sun and optical styles featuring updated interpretations of the brand’s established design elements, feminine silhouettes, and vibrant color combinations.

The Essential line introduces gradient lenses, split temples, and a metal checkerboard detail inspired by New York’s art deco architecture—a theme also reflected in the design of the brand’s Madison Avenue flagship store.
The Carolina Herrera 0318, pictured here, is an acetate butterfly sun style adorned with white pearls and a gold metal sphere on the temples. The CH monogram is engraved on the metal element, and half-pearl details accent the end-tips.

Reimagined Classics
American Optical releases six new eyewear styles from Europa Eyewear, expanding its current collection to 20 sun and 20 optical styles as part of an ongoing brand relaunch.
The new styles introduce SunVogue lens colors: blue, wine gradient, and navy gradient. Additionally, AOLite Nylo lenses are offered in both polarized and nonpolarized versions.
Inspired by the style of the 1950s, the optical American Optical Emerson model, pictured here, is the brand’s first crown panto silhouette of the 21st century.

DKNY launches its spring/summer 2025 collection starring Lila Moss, continuing its “New York Stories” series with a new focus on cinema to showcase the Marchon brand’s new sun and optical styles. The collection incorporates a mix of materials and colors and draws design elements from streetwear.
The DKNY 555S, pictured here, is a feminine wrap-style sunglass made from Tenite Renew, a sustainable acetate made from at least 36% bio-based content and at least 20% certified recycled content.

Mykita releases its latest collection of frames crafted from sustainable Acetate Renew featuring bold, chunky silhouettes paired with lightly tinted or gradient lenses. Handmade in Berlin, the six new sun styles are characterized by a selection of colorways in warm browns and cool neutrals.

Los Angeles-based luxury eyewear brand Ahlem has announced a partnership with Luxembourg private equity firm 1686 Partners to support Ahlem’s global expansion, including retail growth, enhanced client services, and increased production capacity.
EssilorLuxottica and Roger Federer (RF) have renewed their partnership for the design, manufacture, and global distribution of eyewear under the RF and Oliver Peoples brands. The agreement now extends through Dec. 31, 2027.
Marcolin and Max Mara have renewed their licensing agreement for the design, production, and global distribution of Max Mara eyewear. The agreement has been extended for seven years, through Dec. 31, 2032.

◄ Tommy Hilfiger has announced a multiyear partnership with the U.S. SailGP Team as the Official Eyewear Partner. The collaboration launched globally in November 2024 and includes sunglasses and frames from the brand’s spring/summer 2025 eyewear collection from Safilo.
Safilo has renewed its partnership with the Special Olympics through 2027. Through its Opening Eyes program, Safilo provides prescription frames and sunglasses to Special Olympics athletes worldwide and supports the initiative with employee volunteers.
