Hoya Vision Care launches an updated version of the Hoya Learning Center, an online training platform that provides educational content focused on professional development across clinical, product, sales, and practice management topics.
Designed for optical professionals and practice staff, the Hoya Learning Center features a library of courses covering product education, onboarding support, sales strategies, and clinical fundamentals. Course offerings include onboarding modules for new employees, basic optics instruction such as eye anatomy and lens principles, and training on specific Hoya technologies, Hoya shares. Additional courses address management and sales topics, such as premium pair dispensing and occupational lens use.
Courses are structured in short formats, with many averaging approximately 20 minutes in length, to support training in time-constrained practice environments, says Hoya. In addition to technical content, the platform includes courses focused on communication and customer interaction skills.
New courses and platform features are expected to be added on an ongoing basis. Eyecare professionals with access to the Hoya Hub can access the Hoya Learning Center at no cost; ECPs without Hoya Hub access may request Learning Center access through a Hoya business consultant.
