Myopia Profile announced the launch of a new Myopia Control Product Compendium on its consumer-facing site MyKidsVision.org. The resource offers families a centralized, evidence-based guide to childhood myopia treatments, offering clear guidance to help parents and caregivers navigate the growing range of options for their children.
Building on the success of the practitioner-facing Product Compendium on MyopiaProfile.com, the new consumer guide translates clinical insight into accessible, parent-friendly language. The content is structured to support awareness and informed conversations, and offer clear, age-specific guidance for children of all ages, from toddlers to young adults. Feedback and engagement from thousands of eyecare practitioners, parents, and patients helped shape the platform, ensuring it meets the needs of families seeking reliable, evidence-based information.
The Product Compendium is organized across 6 categories of myopia management: spectacles, soft contact lenses, orthokeratology, atropine, light therapies, and instruments and software. In addition, newly developed “Parents’ Guide” articles provide concise overviews of each treatment type and relevant diagnostic technologies to help families understand how treatments work and what benefits they may offer. These resources are intentionally noncomparative and neutral across all treatment modalities and practice settings, ensuring they do not imply preference for one approach over another or disadvantage any clinical setting.
