Adidas Sport eyewear has announced a collaboration with South African trail runner Toni McCann, who will serve as a global brand ambassador for the Marcolin brand. As part of the partnership, McCann will wear Adidas eyewear during competitions and will aid in the development and testing of future eyewear collections designed for trail running.
Treehouse Eyes has appointed Tony Sommer as CEO. Cofounder Matt Oerding will step down as CEO and continue serving as board chairman. Sommer brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in optometry and health care, including previous roles with CooperVision, Alcon, Bausch + Lomb, and Visioneering Technologies.

CooperVision has expanded its US inventory of Biofinity XR toric contact lenses by adding more than 1,500 new parameters for domestic fulfillment. The company said more than 2,300 parameters are now available for next-day shipping from its West Henrietta, NY, facility, including both trial lenses and 6-packs, with additional Biofinity XR toric powers expected to transition to US manufacturing throughout 2026.
The Professional Eye Care Associates of America (PECAA) has launched PECAA promise, a new portfolio of private-label daily disposable contact lenses available exclusively to PECAA Max members. The launch includes 2 products, PECAA Promise 1 Day and PECAA Promise 1 Day Premium, which were first introduced during PECAA’s Annual Meeting. Manufactured by CooperVision, the PECAA Promise 1 Day portfolio consists of customer-branded versions of the MyDay daily disposable and Clariti 1 Day contact lens families.
