Eye Designs Group announced that Patricia Ann Bobilin, who served as an elite salesperson and key sales strategist with the company since August 2009, has passed following a courageous battle with cancer.
"Patricia was an extraordinary team member whose warmth, unwavering dedication, and kindness left an indelible mark on her coworkers, clients, and the eyecare industry. She brought exceptional vision to every project and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her," the company said in a press release.
Born May 12, 1960, in Huntington, New York, to Theodore Christopher and Carolyn Brenner Bobilin, she developed an early passion for excellence and business. With the guidance and encouragement of her father, she built a successful, decades-long career in corporate sales and management.
Her professional path spanned corporate brands, beginning with sales leadership roles at Playtex International, Coca-Cola Corporate, and more than 20 years with Marchon Eyewear. Most recently, Bobilin devoted her talents to sales management and optometric design with Eye Designs.
Throughout her career, Bobilin's commitment to excellence and innovative leadership earned her numerous top honors, including multiple Marchon District Manager of the Year awards, the Information Technology Award, and recognition as one of the 2020 Most Influential Women in Opticalwhile with Eye Designs. An active member of the Optical Women’s Association, Bobilin possessed an intense drive to make a difference, taking joy in seeing the real-world results of her work and helping practice owners transform their retail spaces.
Beyond her professional accolades, Bobilin was defined by her joyful, high-energy approach to life and her steadfast belief in embracing every moment. Her personal philosophy was "Work hard, play hard"—an ethos she lived out with contagious enthusiasm, the company said.
