The new Argyleculture by Russell Simmons optical collection from The McGee Group offers high-density acetate and thin profiles in its new Fender, Daniels, and Costello styles.
Fender is a rectangular shape with spring hinges and a brow bar featuring bold colors contrasted on the rim and bridge. Daniels, a thin metal frame also with spring hinges, comes in a rounded rectangular shape and is sized for a larger fit. This frame features casted end pieces and is offered in Gunmetal and Navy. A lightweight look and feel is achieved with Costello, a full acetate frame also featuring a larger fit. Fender and Daniels retail for $180; Costello retails for $173.

OVVO Optics launches its new Chrome Collection offering sleek, handmade frames inspired by technology and craftsmanship. Each frame is handcrafted in Europe using a manufacturing process that’s been honed in the OVVO design and research labs for decades.
Silhouettes in the Chrome Collection are crisp and futuristic; the intended look is minimal and clean. Technical features include OVVO’s patented screw-less hinge, adjustable nose pads, and flash ZEISS lenses in Icy Powder Blue.

Giorgio Armani’s Frames of Life campaign tells intricate stories, capturing the lifestyles of five protagonists from around the world who embody the boldness and themes of the styles in this collection from Luxottica.
“My name is Nicole Schrock.… I started horseback riding when I was about 13 years old and I just never looked back,” narrates the rodeo competitor, one of the protagonists, in a campaign video.
The new Frames of Life collection offers both ophthalmic and sunwear styles in various shapes and colors.
Model AR8083 (on Nicole) is a rounded, slight cat-eye sunglass with a metal double bridge. Model AR6035 (on Caner) boasts flat lenses, thin temples, and a metal double bridge.
