AM Eyewear unveils Mayan Gold, its 2018 collection inspired by the ancient culture of the Mayan people.
“For years I’ve been captivated by Mayan and Incan cultures’ highly advanced work with precious metals,” says AM Eyewear founder Simon Ponnusamy. “The techniques used to create stunning effects and finishes in their headpieces can take your breath away. Our latest collection is an homage to traditional royal headpieces—striking frames for modern kings and queens in the concrete jungle.”
The new collection offers a stunning range of six styles plated with 9 kt., 18 kt., or 22 kt. gold, as well as silver, rose gold, and copper elements. The frames are hand-crafted primarily from lightweight titanium and feature ZEISS lenses.
The campaign, shot by French photographer Stan Alleaume, aims to capture the luxuriously refined essence of the new collection.
