As screen time soars while the nation works and learns from home amid the Covid-19 pandemic, ClearVision Optical (CVO) and BluTech have teamed up to create new learning opportunities and launch a direct shipping program for ECPs to offer patients.
The direct ship program, the first of its kind for CVO, allows ECPs to invite their patients to shop BluTech Eyewear on cvoptical.com. Patients can place an order for plano blue light-blocking eyewear through their eyecare provider, and CVO will fulfill the order, shipping directly to the patient’s home. Upon reopening their business, ECPs can perform a final fitting for each pair of eyewear sold.
The companies have also created a complimentary library of marketing assets where ECPs can download imagery to be used in emails or on social media.
BluTech has also launched online educational courses on the topic of blue light, which will provide ECPs with a blue light certification upon completion.
