Warby Parker has announced the launch of Scout, the company's first-ever contact lens.
Scout daily contact lenses are priced at $55 per eye for a 90-day pack, $110 for a 90-day supply of two lenses, or approximately $440 a year. They are packaged in a "space-saving flat pack," which presents the outer surface of the lenses facing up, designed to offer a more hygienic application for the wearer.
“We recognized that a sizable percentage of our customers also wear contact lenses, which meant they had to visit different doctors and eyewear stores to fulfill all of their vision needs,” says Warby Parker co-founder and co-CEO Dave Gilboa. “The addition of Scout really puts us in a position of being a one-stop shop.”
