Kering Eyewear is forming a strategic partnership with JD.com, China’s largest retailer and the world’s third-largest Internet company by revenue. This agreement will be marked by the opening of Kering Eyewear’s official flagship store on JD.com, where a diversified selection of optical frames and sunglasses from Kering’s luxury brands will be available to JD’s over 292 million customers.
According to a statement released today, Kering Eyewear will leverage JD.com's digital expertise, leading online position, and extensive traffic, enabling it to effectively reach the entire country. The dedicated store will offer a curated selection of designs, shapes, and fits from various brands included in Kering Eyewear’s luxury, sports, and lifestyle portfolio.

JD.com will act as the authorized distributor of authentic Kering Eyewear products across the market. Besides implementing the company’s business-to-consumer presence and direct distribution in China, the partnership will enable close control over merchandise circulation, the parties noted.
