Bausch + Lomb announces that Joseph Gordon has been named U.S. president, Bausch + Lomb. In this role, Gordon will oversee the fully integrated U.S. eyecare business, inclusive of all four business units— Vision Care, Consumer Health, Surgical, and Pharmaceuticals—reporting directly to chairman and CEO of Bausch Health, Joseph C. Papa.

Gordon was most recently the president of Bausch + Lomb’s Consumer Health and Vision Care businesses. During his seven-year tenure at the company, he has led the Bausch + Lomb Consumer Healthcare business to achieve consecutive industry-leading growth for the past six years, bolstered in part by key over-the-counter (OTC) brands such as new LUMIFY redness reliever eye drops and Biotrue multi-purpose solution. Both key contact lens brands in Vision Care, Bausch + Lomb ULTRA and Biotrue ONEday, are also the fasting growing in their respective segments.
