Vision Expo Support Hurricane Relief Efforts

The organizers of Vision Expo say they have received a lot of interest from Vision Expo supporters, attendees, and exhibitors, looking for ways in which they can help those affected by these events. So they have released the following links and information:

The vision industry is and always has been a close, supportive community. To this end, Vision Expo supports Optometry’s Fund for Disaster Relief (OFDR), a program of Optometry Cares – The AOA Foundation.

In addition, Vision Expo extends its support to the efforts of The American Board of Opticianry & National Contact Lens Examiners (ABO-NCLE), in conjunction with its affiliated organizations including the Contact Lens Society of America (CLSA), Opticians Association of America (OAA) and the National Academy of Opticianry (NAO), encouraging contributions to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief.
For the many members of the industry who have reached out in search of ways to show their support, we encourage you join behind these important efforts.

Details on how to support OFDR and the American Red Cross will be made available throughout the Vision Expo West show floor lounges, food courts and registration areas, or you can visit to learn more about these disaster relief efforts, donate, or request support.
