Thélios, the joint venture between luxury leader LVMH and Marcolin Group, unveils the FRED Force 10 Eyewear collection.
The assortment is inspired by one of the Maison FRED’s signature pieces, the Force 10 bracelet—created in 1966 when FRED founder Fred Samuel’s eldest son had the idea of weaving together ocean cables and attaching them to a buckle at each end to make a bracelet. Since its inception, the representation of the woven steel sailing cable with a gold buckle goes beyond jewelry, symbolizing a sense of freedom and easygoing elegance.
The new eyewear collection, featuring both optical and sun styles, fuses high-quality design and the Maison’s maritime influence. Pictured is style FG40004. The suggested retail price range is $550 to $1,750.
